Welcome to the Ripley Village Hall website

Ripley Village Hall is a charity that owns the village hall and the land on which it stands. Its purpose is to provide educational, recreational and leisure-time facilities for the residents of Ripley and Send Marsh.

The Hall is available for hire for morning, afternoon, evening or all day sessions for: Wedding receptions, Anniversaries, Parties, Collectors fairs, Craft fairs, clubs, dance classes, Amateur dramatics, Business meetings, Training events and all other occasions.

The village hall was opened in 1975 with an anticipated lifetime of 25 years. It has now been open 33 years and we have already replaced the whole of the southern side in temporary materials (UPVC) due to timbers rotting away. The survey we had done in 2000 gave us an expected lifetime of 12 - 15 years before the whole building would need replacing.

All the options have been thoroughly explored and the only realistic conclusion is to build a new Ripley Village Hall. Please read on...
