We are very pleased to announce that Phase 1 of the redevelopment was completed in April 2022 and is open for hire for meetings, training, yoga, club and social get togethers etc. For details of this community space please click on Victory House above.
Phase 2 will be the redevelopment of the main hall and will commence as soon as final funding has been secured. We look forward to welcoming new users when the lovely new buildings have been completed and we hope that our previous regular users will continue to support the halls in the future. There will be a wide range of activities taking place here, enhancing village life and benefitting our whole community. It will be a great place to come, meet with friends, enjoy a hobby and maybe take up a new interest.
The details for the interior of the new buildings have now been finalised and should ensure that they will be suitable for all users. In particular the space allocated for the Parish Council office has been carefully planned and designed to ensure that it is a workable space for our many public meetings and the roof space above the office will create much needed storage areas for all the files and equipment needed to run the village. There has also been close liaison with the amateur dramatics and orchestral users to carefully design and optimise the stage, lighting and sound systems, incorporating a mezzanine level in the main hall.
